Uremovich (pronounced you-REM-OH-vitch) is only the ninth head coach of Butler's football program since 1935 when Tony Hinkle first led the Bulldogs. Hall enters his 12 th season in the Butler dugout. The top four teams in the conference standings will qualify for the BIG EAST Tournament, which begins May 12.
BUTLER UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL SCHEDULE SERIES
The Bulldogs will travel to Washington D.C., to take on Georgetown for the final series of the regular season from May 6-8. This homestand includes match-ups with 2021 NCAA participants UIC on April 12 and Miami (Ohio) on April 13, as well as two BIG EAST series with Creighton and Providence. The 2022 schedule also features 10 straight home games from April 12 through May 1.
The first home game and home BIG EAST series for the Bulldogs comes on March 25 against Seton Hall. 8, before opening up conference play in Philadelphia against defending BIG EAST champion Villanova in a series beginning on March 11. The Bulldogs will remain in Tennessee for their fourth and final regular season tournament of the season as they compete in the Memphis Blues Classic hosted by the University of Memphis from March 4-6.īutler will then travel to Kentucky to face Morehead State on Mar. 25-27 including a game against 2021 NCAA Tournament participant Southern Illinois. While in Florida, Butler will play five different teams, including two 2021 NCAA Tournament participants (Liberty and South Alabama).Īfter the Spring Games, the Bulldogs will travel to a tournament hosted by UT-Chattanooga. The Bulldogs will face Valparaiso to open the event and the 2022 season.įollowing the Rosemont event, Butler will travel to Leesburg, Fla., for the 2022 Spring Games from Feb.18-20. The Bulldogs will participate in four early-season tournaments, beginning with one in Rosemont, Ill., from Feb. The schedule features games against seven different teams who reached the NCAA Tournament in 2021. Butler softball coach Scott Hall has announced the Bulldogs' schedule for the upcoming spring 2022 season.
